Easter bunny is coming, to town....

Mom's not saying much these days - at the 2:18 mark she utters her only comment on the video clip below: "huh?".   Oh well.  She tends to be "better" in the morning so I've been going over between breakfast and lunch.   On Thursday I took her a simple chocolate donut - her chocolate consumption is way down by design.  She seemed to like the donut but didn't go "bonkers" over it.   Still, I wanted to capture a video, so with Rachel Ray or some such program playing on TV behind the camera, she nibbled some...but couldn't (or wouldn't) vocalize the flavor.  Note how she points to stomach when Mike says: "yummy, yummy"....so it's obvious one or two cells are connecting.  We opened a box John had sent with a greeting card and jelly bean treats.   Later, after this video was completed Mom tried to eat the box...so you can draw your own conclusions.

More greeting cards!  Cards from GA (Sharalene & Bruce) and MN (Pat & Cheryl)...okay, so I should have dusted the crumbs off Mom's blouse - but we were having fun.  Just before lunch Mom was snacking on Johns jelly beans (see 4/6 text above).   The we got into one of our famous "fill-in-the-blank" games.  The other day I said: "accentiate the positive, eliminate the _____" and Mom filled-in the blank: "negative...and don't mess with Mr. In-Between," Mom said.   Wow.  Multiple words!   Naturally I wished I had my camera - so, a few days later when I did have it, I tried to recreate the magic.   It didn't work - but sometimes a failure can be just as interesting.

I was over to Mom's twice on Sunday - morning and afternoon before settling down to watch "The Masters" golf tourney.  I left my camera at home on purpose.
