Mike's bookshelf completed - the project was still drying in this snapshot below ... so immediately after snapping the photo, the few books were removed and set aside. Still drying (you may be wondering)? Yep. We use General Finishes Arm-R-Seal oil-based polyurethane: "General Finishes recommends waiting 30 days for an oil-based finish to cure. However, you can use a piece lightly after about 7 days, but the finish will still be curing for another 2 or 3 weeks."
